Available Sizes in the NMRV Series
NMRV reducers are manufactured in seven standard sizes: 040, 050, 063, 075, 090, 110, and 130. The number identifies the housing size and is directly related to the torque and power capacity the reducer can handle: the higher the number, the greater the capacity.
Real Example: NMRV 063/40
Take the code NMRV 063/40 as an example. The first segment, NMRV, indicates the worm gear reducer type. The number 063 indicates the housing size. The number after the slash, 40, indicates the reduction ratio, in this case 40:1, meaning that for every 40 turns of the input shaft, the output shaft rotates only once. Available Reduction Ratios Within each size, the standard available reduction ratios are 5, 10, 15, 20, 25, 30, 40, 50, 60, 80, and 100. Not all sizes offer every ratio, so it is recommended to confirm the specific size and ratio combination availability before specifying the equipment. Why This Code Is Essential When Ordering Spare Parts When reporting a failure or requesting a replacement reducer, providing only the motor power is not enough.
